Our Mission
Founded in the aftermath of October 7, the Jewish Entertainment Alliance is an organization formed by a collective of Jewish creatives to serve as a pipeline for Jewish workforce development, safeguard Jewish creatives against antisemitism in the entertainment industry and function as a unified support system to amplify and elevate Jewish voices in Hollywood.

We provide support for Jewish creatives facing discrimination during the hiring process and on the job. We collaborate with organizations across the Hollywood landscape to create fellowships, grants and mentorship opportunities for actors, directors, writers and producers.

J-Connect: Consultation / Access to Allies
Our database connects Jewish creatives with allies in the industry who have specific hiring or consultation needs. This database serves to strengthen Jewish communal ties, encourage shared resources and fosters creative and professional collaboration across the entertainment industry.

Accurate portrayal / Jewish Joy
We strive to bolster the celebration and normalization of the Jewish experience on-screen by promoting accurate cultural, spiritual, and religious representation.

The Oscars are behind us—and look, they could have been worse. Now, with Emmy season upon us, Jewish Entertainment Alliance is springing (pun intended) into action with a slate of initiatives we can’t wait to reveal. And yes, the world is heavy. Violence persists, and our brothers and sisters in Israel are facing unimaginable challenges. We’re not here to suggest we have all the answers. But we are committed to doing our part.

At Jewish Entertainment Alliance, that means elevating and amplifying Jewish voices in Hollywood—and we’re just getting started. We’re launching a series of new initiatives designed to support Jewish creatives across the industry.

First, a gentle but enthusiastic reminder: please sign up for our Jewish Entertainment Power List. By joining, you’ll be the first to hear about these initiatives as soon as they launch. To begin, our upcoming mentorship program will connect established industry leaders with emerging and mid-career writers, directors, producers, and actors. We’re also building partnerships with pro bono attorneys, civil rights advocates, and legal experts in Los Angeles and across the United States to help address and combat antisemitism and discrimination in the entertainment workplace.
